I went here during a visit last November 2nd-6th 2012. Me and my boyfriend were hungry for some late night food so we came across this place. We passed it by on a walk earlier and saw they had a happy hour special and missed it. We called around 10pm on a Sunday evening and they said they were open until some extremely late hour serving food. So we were game! We went. He ordered a reuben and I ordered the blackened Chicken Alfredo. It was AMAAZING. As one of my fav Italian dishes it had a good sauce (and seasoning) and I requested the chicken blackened and they had no problem accommodating. The service was great, especially for a bar. I have nothing bad to say about this place. It was really cold when we went and people were outside smoking so there was no smoke inside at all. I am sure if they allow smoking it can get smoky but that night it was not crowded at all. His sandwich was good. They had a full bar and the bartender was really friendly and talkative and made us one of his favorite shots. We ended up buying quite a few. I had a good time and so did my guy so we said that the International Cafe will always have to be a stop for us while we are in Myrtle Beach. Best of all though, was that it was 2 blocks up from our resort in North Myrtle Beach!

Good food, reasonable prices! Large selection of beer. Convenient to all the beach shops and access. Right next door to a sweets shop for dessert.

Just literally could not get by the god awful stench of smoke...literally as you opened the door....place was empty....but the smell of stale smoke was nauseating. However...I have to commend on a well decorated place...excellent and copious beer choices...extensive menu with value (although not my taste) oriented specials. I have also heard from many folks how good the food is...and how very nice the owner and staff is. I really believe...these places that offer high end products...such as craft beers...would be well served to consider a smoke - free environment. Non- smokers as a whole have a higher education...higher income...tend to spend more on "luxury" items such as craft beers....

Amazing food! Had the turkey trotskey and potato salad...homemade potato salad! French dip and Reuben both good. Served quickly and very attentive wait staff! Will be back for sure!

We stopped here for lunch while passing through N. Myrtle beach based on the high reviews. I wonder why? It wasn't worth it really. I ordered the fried chicken: choice of white or dark meat, and two sides. I asked for the dark which was they said was leg and thigh but got a thigh and something which was not a leg; perhaps another thigh? Hard to tell. Batter was nice and crispy but tasted heavy on the salt and not much else. Chicken itself was ok. The fries were below average. Green beans seemed frozen. The wife ordered a Reuben. She was pretty disappointed too: very skimpy on the corned beef and was unbalanced by way too much sauerkraut. It was nice to sit at the sidewalk table and watch the people stroll by - or cruise by in their cute little golf carts as many of them seem to do there. And the waitress was nice and friendly. But that doesn't really make up for the mediocre food.

You know that smell of an over weight guy that doesn't shower and wears cologne? They accomplish it here. There menu is very large but so distracting with all the pictures and silly quotes that we decided that it wasn't worth the time and headache to read it all. Sorry guys we won't be back, but at least the angry orchard tasted extra angry.

Was so happy to find this late night spot with the kitchen still open after a long drive from NC. My friend and I each had a burger and beer and enjoyed our food. wish they asked for my preference on the burger, would have prefered more medium to well, but I was tired and hungry and realized it too late. I liked the thin fries that came with the burger.

Looks like a cool place, but the food was just alright. Furthermore, I was given an order not even close to the sandwich I actually ordered. I waited a while for it, so I didn't send it back since I was already in a rush.

We returned this year and stopped again. Food and service was as good as previous visits. Definitely worth a visit if you want a casual quick meal.

They make the best Ruben I've ever had! But then, I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. They have the biggest selection of beer of any place I've ever been. It's a favorite of my wife and me.

Forget food? Seriously? You obviously have not eaten here. Soups are home made, real and spectacular. I know soup. I make soup. Soup is a friend of mine. Soup here is fantastic. Sandwiches are great. Fries are as good as any. Home made excellent food, great waiters, GREAT waiters, decent beer on tap, nice bottles. My favorite bar in the entire world.

You are gonna see a trending theme when it comes to places to grab a drink while in Myrtle. That theme tends to be very mainstream and domestic beers, etc. This place specifically bucks that trend a bit just not enough for me to fall in love. Cool concept bar with international beers from across the world. Service was fine, nothing spectacular and not the friendliest but that's alright. The staff seemed busy dealing with a foul mouthed young lady screaming about food and McDonalds (??). Given the fact this place was very close to our resort I would have popped back in had I had a better first time experience.

When in Rome, or North Myrtle Beach for that matter, International Café is where the locals hang out. This place isn't that big, but what it has is a big bar with lots of choices when it comes to alcohol. Can't say I've ever eaten here but I've definitely gotten my drink on on a few occasions. Depending on the night or time of the season, I've seen it get a little rowdy in here but that hasn't stopped us from making this a regular stop each summer when we visit. It's a nice change from all the touristy spots.

Place was recommended as a good craft & international beer selection. Selection was moderately good, but strong compared to other places. Bartenders were knowledgable & friendly. Had more of a pub feel than other establishments down there.

The International Cafe is a rite of passage on my annual pilgrimage to North Myrtle Beach. For too many years now, I've dedicated an evening of my Maycation to hunkering down at the cozy International Cafe. It all started years ago when we were lured to their $6 lunch special for a hearty recovery meal, and ended up reveling away the afternoon with good company. They're quick to get you back on your feet, but just as swift as knocking you right off them that evening. True to it's name, it's always been a pleasant mix of tourists and locals. The bartenders are very welcoming, and have been successful of barring my exit without generous jello shot offerings and custom made mixed drinks. I'll see you again in 11 months...

More of a bar than a cafe, the International is a great place right on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. The owner is laid back, with a great crew of bartenders. Food is good, nice portions, and low prices. The huge menu has something for everyone. If you want a break from the chain restaurants, and a fun place to hang out, don't miss the International.

Well to begin with, this place is kind of old and homey. No problem with me, these places usually have the best food. I was quite wrong about this place. Me, my boyfriend, and his father received food poisoning as a result of eating at this restaurant on March 18, 2015. I had the cheeseburger and fried lunch special. I should have known that I was going to get sick, the burger was clearly not fresh/homemade. Looked like one of this frozen burgers from the box that you just put on the grill for a couple of mins. Tasted like it too. My boyfriend and his father had the "Gas shortish", which is 2 of the hotdogs, loaded with chili, coleslaw, and a side of onion rings. When we get back to our hotel about 3 hrs later, we all felt the early symptoms of food poisoning (Nausea). As the night progresses we all throw up and get all the horrible symptoms from food poisoning. I wish I would've went with my instinct and ate somewhere else. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Top notch bartenders. Unique atmosphere for north myrtle beach. Excellent food and beer selection. After 10 o'clock, the local scene gets a little shady. Very cool decor.

We decided to try this little joint on Main St. Its in the heart of the crowds, but was pretty easy to get to. We just had burgers & fries, they were good, nothing special. The menu is the size of a book.

A very inviting place with great staff. Seems a place to go for a "chill" spot. Seems the local residents hang out her more.

Great beer selection, good food, good location right on Main Street just a few steps to the beach. The bartenders/staff were all very attentive during our recent visit. Reasonable prices, cool spot. Will definitely return on our next trip to NMB.
